In order to be eligible for the HUD Certification you must attend this workshop and a one-on-one appointment. You will have the opportunity to sign up for your one-on-one home-ownership counseling at the end of the workshop.
After registering, please test out computer settings prior to the day of the workshop to confirm you are able to log into the site and test the video and audio settings.
*PLEASE NOTE: This is a HUD approved course so in order to qualify for the Homebuyer Education Certificate; you MUST attend BOTH the workshop AND attend the one on one session. Please be on time. The one day workshop begins at 9am and ends at 2pm.
Counseling Session: You will also need to attend a counseling session by phone or virtually to obtain your certificate. This session is a critical piece of your education and will further assist you in understanding what programs are available for you and what questions to ask of your lender and realtor.
